I've only been here 24 hours and I have fallen deeply in love! This town has everything a musician could dream of! I mean, they play live music on the street! All over downtown! It's not hard to see why it's the most desired university for most of Georgia's college bound students and touted as a fertile ground for new bands to form.
I rolled into town on a Thursday night and was able to make it to the Foundry in time to listen to and connect with a pretty sizable group of up and coming singer/songwriters from the Music Business program at UGA! They seemed to really appreciate the time I took to take pics and videos of their performances. I know how it can be as a songwriter. You want people to be there to support you. Unfortunately, not everybody who want to be there can be there, and many times as the performer, you have a great time, but wind up having nothing to capture the moment because you are so engaged with performing. God bless all of you singer/songwriters! Jesus loves you and so do I!
