1000 Faces Coffee Shop

Friday morning, I started out at a place called "1000 Faces Coffee Shop". Very friendly employees and a pleasant atmosphere, not to mention the drinks and pastry were outstanding as well. I actually ran into the owner of Swift and Finch Coffee S

hop (located in Rome). I did a total double take! At first, I couldn't believe it. Turns out, she lives in Athens! Who knew? I see her at Swift and Finch regularly, but she is only there one day a week. Crazy, huh?

At 1000 Faces, I met a cool guy named Jay as I was putting the finishing touches on the website for mobile phones. Jay shared his faith in Christ with me. I was very impressed! God really blessed me by Jay being in my path today! He told me about a restaurant that he recommends called "Cali N Titos". He said it was a Cuban restaurant. I had never eaten at a Cuban restaurant, but I've learned that if a local tells you it's good, it's really good, without fail. And it was REALLY GOOD!

As I was heading to my car, I got the chance to help a guy whose battery died in the parking lot by jumping him off. I told him it was no problem because I work for Jesus! :-) Then I headed off to a restaurant I had no idea was going to be as good as it was. You can read about it in the next post, entitled, "Cali N Titos"!
